ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Alexandra Landau. I’m an actress, writer and comedian based in NYC. I’ve been through the entire program at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and have performed there and various other comedy theatres in NYC- including the PIT and currently, a house improv team at the Armory. I excel at playing your typical “girl next door”… if the girl next door to you is a disarmingly off-beat chick who won’t stop making noise at night and climbing your trees.
I am obsessed with Love Island and wrote and directed a Love Island parody (set in the International Space Station, of course). I also starred in an indie, dark-romantic comedy, Italo-Western feature (that common genre) “Danni and the Vampire”, which was chosen to screen at the Chinese Theatres in LA and now has gotten distribution on Plex, Tubi, and Amazon Prime (I played Danni. Or who knows… maybe she played ME).
Most recently I acted in the feature film “From the Shadows” with Keith David and Bruce Davidson. I earned my BA in Acting at Fairleigh Dickinson University and have studied on screen acting with Tommy Buck at T. Schreiber Studios and Alberto Bonilla at Stella Adler, and have taken various other scene study, sketch writing, and dance classes in the city. Never know when I’m going to need to tap dance my way out of a sticky situation (again).
